— Products & certifications

The hardware, the ratings, the choice.

What do MIL-STD-810H and IP68 actually mean for my floor?

MIL-STD-810H is the US military's standard for environmental durability — drop, temperature, humidity and more. Every NCL platform is rated to it, including the 1.22 m drop test. IP68 is the ingress rating: the 6 means fully dust-tight, the 8 means it withstands continuous water immersion. In practice: drop it, hose it down, run it from −20 °C to +60 °C — it keeps working. Compliance also covers CE, CCC, ISO and RoHS.

NTC101 vs NTC109 vs NTC181 — which one do I pick?

All three share the same MIL-STD-810H / IP68 baseline and differ by workflow. NTC101 — 10.1″, 5G, Dimensity 900: the modular flagship with barcode, RFID, fingerprint, RTK and ID-card options plus optional explosion-proof certification, for data capture and field service. NTC109 — 10.95″, 4G LTE, 20,000 mAh / 16–18 h: the long-shift workhorse for warehouses and factories where runtime beats 5G. NTC181 — 8″, 5G, Dimensity 900: the compact platform with explosion-proof (ATEX / IECEx) options for handheld and hazardous operations. Short rule: NTC101 for modular 5G capture, NTC109 for all-day battery, NTC181 for compact / hazardous.

Are they 5G?

The NTC101 and NTC181 are 5G (SA + NSA, with broad global band coverage). The NTC109 is 4G LTE — a deliberate trade that funds its 20,000 mAh battery. All three include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

How long does the battery last?

The NTC101 and NTC181 ship with a 10,000 mAh battery (≥10 h of 1080p playback at 50% brightness and volume), with an optional 20,000 mAh pack for extended shifts. The NTC109 ships with 20,000 mAh as standard, rated 16–18 hours. All are high-voltage 3.8 V lithium and non-removable.

Can they be used with gloves, in the rain, or in direct sunlight?

Yes. The capacitive touch supports glove and wet-hand operation (configurable), the IP68 seal handles rain and wash-down, and the 700 cd/m² display is sunlight-readable — the NTC181 offers an optional 1,000 cd/m² ultra-bright panel. Operating range is −20 °C to +60 °C, with custom cold-spec variants down to −30 °C or −40 °C on the 5G platforms.

What Android version do they run?

The NTC101 and NTC181 ship on Android 15. The NTC109 ships on Android 14.

— Warranty & accessories

What's covered, and what's in the kit.

What warranty is included?

Every NCL platform ships with a 3-year warranty as standard, including one covered physical-damage repair — screen or chassis. It's the same coverage across the NTC101, NTC109 and NTC181.

Are spare parts and accessories available?

Yes. Each platform has a matched accessory set — two- and four-point harnesses, carry handles, vehicle mounts, charging docks and crossbody bags — listed on each product page.
